Current of the Animas

A pair of mirrored steel relief sculptures inspired by the Animas River and the topographic landscapes it has shaped. Built from layered steel contours and a brushed stainless steel river, the pieces are installed in opposing orientations, allowing the river to flow north in one work and south in the other. Together, they celebrate the dynamic relationship between water, landscape, and the passage of time.
